Dual Board-Certified Family & Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

A Foundation Built in the Most Demanding Environments in Medicine

I am a dual board-certified Doctor of Nursing Practice with a 23-year clinical career forged in high-acuity medicine.

Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, I spent 17 years in Critical Care, specializing in the immediate recovery of open-heart surgery patients at several of the nation’s leading teaching hospitals. In these environments, precision was not optional. Clinical judgment was not theoretical. Decisions carried immediate consequences. That foundation shaped how I practice medicine today.

From Critical Care to Whole-Person Medicine

After six years practicing as a Nurse Practitioner, my clinical path expanded to include dual certification in both Family Medicine and Psychiatric–Mental Health. This rare combination allows me to treat the whole person — not just isolated symptoms.

Mental health affects physical health, and physical health affects mental health. The two cannot be separated.

My training enables me to assess complex medication regimens, chronic medical conditions, psychiatric diagnoses, and behavioral health needs within one cohesive framework.

Patients do not need fragmented care. They need integrated clinical leadership.

ICU-Level Precision for Everyday Health Decisions

In critical care, details matter. Small changes signal major shifts. Early intervention prevents deterioration.

That mindset remains central to my approach at Fusion Healthcare.

Whether managing hypertension, adjusting psychiatric medication, evaluating ADHD, or treating urgent concerns, I approach each case with structured assessment, disciplined reasoning, and evidence-based planning.

Speed without chaos.
Access without red tape.
Authority without arrogance.
